The Cortex Key

This year I am producing and directing a sci-fi/tech thriller short film titled THE CORTEX KEY, starring Michelle Bauer (GRANDMA), Debbie Rochon (VIEW FROM THE EDGE), and Brinke Stevens (DOROTHEA). I wrote the script about a neuroscientist (Stevens), a biology teacher (Bauer), and a tech executive (Rochon) who race to complete a technology that could save humanity. Meanwhile, a disgraced scientist (played by Mars Homeworld) launches a sabotage that threatens not only their work, but the future of mankind.

Pre-production is going well: we have had a successful script reading; a superb score is being composed by Amoreena Ford (ROAD 29), who is also our cinematographer; and we have a terrific location for the shoot.

ROAD 29 Wins at WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival

ROAD 29 was accepted at WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and won a Remi Award! According to WorldFest-Houston, over 4,700 category entries were submitted into competition from 77 nations.

ROAD 29 is a suspense short movie my production company just completed. The movie stars Zoey Kriegmont and Brinke Stevens. ROAD 29 will premiere in 2022.

In 2016 my screenplay for ROAD 29 was a semi-finalist in the Hollywood Connection Short Screenplay Competition.

"Party Tonight!" in Post-Production

I adapted the short story "Party Tonight!" from my book, Growing Pains - 10 short stories about growing up (http://www.tdaentertainment.com/growingpainsbook.htm). The short film is currently in post-production, which means it is being edited. The story is about 'Kim,' a conservative college freshman, who has a roommate named 'Teresa' who likes to party. The odd pairing makes the narrative comedic and dramatic.

I produced and directed "Party Tonight!" It stars Desiree Cruz as 'Kim' and Aryn Bigler as 'Teresa.' David Lundell appears as 'Joe' (Teresa's boyfriend).
